Video Surveillance

How a CCTV System Works?

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is the use of surveillance cameras to transmit video signals to a specific place or device for viewing. The signal can be transmitted by coaxial or network cables, point to point (P2P), point to multi-point and wireless mesh networks. Video cameras are categorized as either Analog (Non-HD), HD Analog or Internet Protocol (IP) systems. Events are recorded to a digital video recorder (DVR) or network video recorder (NVR) and are available for local and remote viewing.
